Poison Oak (she/her) is a New York based drag artist, poet, comedienne, and show host. Born in the woods and raised by the city, she walks with one foot on Earth and one on pavement. As a poet she is inspired by nature and history, exploring universal themes from various personas. Her comedy is influenced by insult comics such as Joan Rivers and political comics like George Carlin. She performs as a show host for events such as birthdays, fundraisers, wedding engagements, bachelorette parties, and more.

Poison Oak hosts New York’s only drag poetry show, Verse4Verse at Dada in Ridgewood, Queens.
